RESERVE, LA (April 18, 2007) – Recent changes in Dredging Supply Company, Inc.’s executive ranks will result in a more unified approach to serving their customers, while allowing further research for technological advancements.

DSC’s owners, William J. Wetta II, P.E. and Bob Wetta, recently announced a reorganization of their executive team to address vacancies created by professional changes within their leadership group. Bob Wetta, former Vice President of Sales, will now serve as the company’s President allowing him to focus on overall sales, manufacturing, finance, and HR functions of day-to-day business. William (Bill) Wetta, former President, will serve as DSC’s Chief Executive Officer. This change will allow Bill Wetta to focus primarily on research and development so that DSC can remain on top of the most recent engineering trends. Charles Johnson, who was recently promoted to Director of Sales, will assume responsibility of the sales team while coordinating domestic and international sales.

Until recently the responsibilities of Chief Operations Officers were shared by several within the executive team. As the company consistently grows and sales continue to break previous records, DSC felt a need to expand their leadership group by adding two new executives to the existing team. Gary Hamilton, who joined the company in February, will serve as Chief Operations Officer and will be in charge of production. Hamilton’s background includes over twenty years of experience in health and safety, operations, and sales. Hamilton has always worked in the manufacturing industry, which will greatly benefit DSC. The company is also proud to welcome aboard Terri Heyd, CPA. She will serve as DSC’s Chief Financial Officer and will be responsible for overseeing the HR and financial departments. Heyd’s experience includes twenty years in finance and a background in marine manufacturing.

With the executive team’s new structure, DSC is confident that they will better serve their customers by developing new concepts and advancing their current technologies. The company has seen record-breaking sales for the last few years now and will continue to grow while expanding internationally.
